Meet the Team
Meet the Women Dedicated to Changing the Landscape of Healthcare
Allegra Lewis
CEO, RN
Allegra Lewis has been a nurse and educator for 26 years and has been the owner of Allegra’s Reign Healthcare Solutions for the past 3 years.
While attending high school she volunteered at local hospitals and with several community programs. She attained her Nursing Assistant certification and started working as a companion for a local home health company in 1997. A year later, in March of 1998, she graduated from Virginia Beach Vocational School with her LPN license. Soon after, she began working for Sentara Norfolk General Hospital on the trauma floor while studying for her Associates degree in applied science at Norfolk State University.
After graduating from NSU in May of 2001, she obtained her RN license, and everything took off from there! She started traveling the world as a nurse, acquiring an array of knowledge and skills from a plethora of hospitals. She served as a nursing supervisor for various nursing homes and hospitals. Eventually she stumbled into the world of education by teaching healthcare courses for local companies. She became the CCL of a surgical unit and then the Orthopedic Coordinator for Atlantic Orthopedic within the BonSecours System.

As she progressed in her career she became exceedingly aware of a lack of education and understanding about how to care for ourselves individually and collectively, notably in underserved communities. She discovered that these communities were wrought with an immense fear of the healthcare system. Her compassion, love, dedication, and empathy lead to the birth of something great! She created a training school that teaches the proper techniques and offers the necessary tools for safely and effectively caring for ourselves and others. This journey requires a team that will bring the same energy and love. The Vision is to make changes on a global level while embracing the Biopsychosocial aspects of Health in order to transform Mind, Body and Soul.

Belinda Lauriano
Instructor & Owner of Innovative Learning, LLC
Belinda Lauriano has been a nurse for over 20 years. She began studying nursing at Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but after being relocated to Virginia by the military she graduated from Norfolk State University in 2002 with her ADN. She then went on to earn her BSN from ECPI University. She was employed with Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital for 17 years as a Charge Nurse, Preceptor and Clinical Coordinator. She has been a travel nurse since 2016.
She credits her mother with inspiring her to become a nurse. She was able to witness her mother’s hardwork and dedication as she attended nursing school while Ms. Lauriano was in middle school. When her mother became a nurse at a big hospital in Louisiana called Charity Hospital, she touched so many lives. The hospital employees there called her ‘Maw Brown.’ She saw how highly regarded her mother was as a nurse and that inspired Ms. Lauriano to become the best nurse that she could be. She says her mother foresaw her future as an educator, telling her that she believed she would grow up to be a teacher.
She became interested in becoming an educator in nursing when she became a preceptor while working at Sentara. Later an opportunity for her to become a clinical instructor at ECPI in Virginia Beach arose. Watching a student’s face light up as they master a new skill and grasp the importance of the skill is invaluable. There was one particular night she had a skill lab on teaching on how to take blood pressure manually. There was one student who thought she was not going to master this skill. She stayed with her after class until she did. She was deeply moved by the look on her student’s face. (She had been an instructor for less than 1 month). Seeing her student teeming with excitement and confidence as she accomplished the task was one of many encounters that inspired her to become a nurse educator.
She often encounters individuals who are task oriented without understanding why. In nursing she believes it is important to understand both. She asserts that nurse educators have the responsibility of teaching not only the task itself, but why the task is necessary as well. As a nurse and a nurse educator she strives daily to learn something new and to do it with character and integrity. She is receptive to new ways of learning because nursing is an evolving profession. Veronica Colon
Office Administrator
Has experience Customer Service, Human Resources, Payroll and Direct Support Provider. She is known for her friendliness and enthusiasm as well as her commitment to ensuring the well-being of others. She took an interest in the Healthcare field at an early age while visiting her grandfather in a nursing home where her compassion for other residents filled her heart. However, the hands on work began when her father was diagnosed with lung cancer and needed hands on care around the clock. At that very point she knew she wanted to be of help and love to others who could not represent themselves due to their illness and/or disability. She is very passionate and empathetic about the healthcare system and prays that in working for Allegra's Reign Healthcare Solutions they can make a difference not only in the healthcare world but also within one by Embodying Health, Wellness, Balance and Healing.
